I'm going to be real with you here in the episode. You, we, women, put so much pressure on yourself to look a certain way, especially over the summer. It's not serving you on any level.
You can be healthy at many different sizes. And losing weight isn't a bad thing. In fact in can be fantastic for your health to reach an optimal weight.....but to fit into someone else's idea of what a "beach body" should look like? Nah. Let's get passed that. Here's seven reasons why you don't want the beach body:
1. Yo-yo dieting (on-again off-again dieting) is bad for your health and doesn't give you lasting change.
2. Body image through the media/social media is unrealistic and only makes you feel bad about yourself.
3. The beach body is a joke--who's definition anyway?
4. You're a grown*** woman.
5. Pregnancy and postpartum physical changes are real.
6. You like to eat. Obvs.
7. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14
